Abstract

One of the features of the state of Bahawalpur is that the Nawabs here were friends of Islam but at the same time the poets belonging to it have also expressed their love for Islam which can be gauged from their words.Along with these poets, poets also played a significant role in promoting Naat recitation in this region.In Bahawalpur region,NusratRasheed has the honor of being the first Sahib e Dewan poet of Naat Recitation. Besides Gazal and poetry,She is Unique in her mystic style. There is a clear reflection of Love for Rasool(PBUH) in her Naat recitation. Her all literature work and expression are full of love of the Muhammad (PBUH). Apart from NusratRasheed,the names of Saboohi, BushraRehman, NaeemaRao, Noshigaillani, ShaguftaAltaf,RashidaHaiderRashi,NaheedQamar And Sadia Sana are of great importance in other Naatrectitationpoets.In this article will be an analytical study of thesepoets and their Poetry.
