Abstract

The Quraan was revealed in seven different wys of recition, called Qiraat. The scholers of ummah narrated these Qraat.Imam Ibn -e- jareer Tabri is a well known interpreter, historian and commentater.In his tafseer Jami-ul-bayan , he has described the ‘’Qraat’’ wich are authentic according to his own set principles at 850 different places. According to him these ‘’Qiraat’’ are appropriate which are harmonious to the script of the Quaan, it should be popular, consist on Arabic meaning and most of the people should have described it.In addition to proving problems and rules through Qiraat he has also used vocabulary, grammar, rituals and lexicens to explain rules and meaning.
