Abstract
This research explores the methodological framework of the Prophetic Seerah (Sīrah al-Muṣṭafā ﷺ) in cultivating moral refinement (Tazkiyah al-Akhlāq) and its relevance to the ethical dilemmas of the contemporary world. The study aims to analyze the foundational principles (uṣūl) derived from the life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in moral training, including mercy, justice, patience, truthfulness, humility, and forgiveness. It then transitions into the practical application (taṭbīq) of these principles within the context of modern crises — such as digital misconduct, individualism, materialism, and global injustice. This research combines traditional Islamic sources with modern ethical discourse and proposes an integrated moral framework, drawn from the Seerah, that can guide individuals, institutions, and societies in moral elevation. Ultimately, it demonstrates that the Seerah's moral methodology remains not only relevant but vital to resolving present-day ethical crises.
