Abstract

Dr Asi Karnali is an encyclopedic and versatile writer of poetry in this era. He is credible personality known as poet but he also created a lot of altarpieces in prose. There are excellent examples of Hamads, Naats, Manqbats, Ghazals and Poems in his poetry. Eminent researchers and critics have praised him for creating the best poetry in all genres. All his genres of poetry aside, but Naat is his genre, in which he has universal status. For this reason, he is the identity of Multan in literary circles around the world. He has blessed Urdu Naat with a modern style by adorning his Naat with the best technical and intellectual qualities. For the excellence of his Naats, he was honored with the Presidential Award for his collection of Naats. On the basis of the high qualities of his Naat, it will not be out of place to call him the epoch-making orator poet
