Abstract

Pakistan Army not only made significant strides on the military front but also raised unforgettable flags of victory in Urdu Literature.The tradition of Urdu satire and humour in the Pakistan Army is very vivid and very important in terms of literature.  Ashfaq Hussain is a continuation of this tradition.  He started writing with the urdu magazine 'Hilal'.  He is one of the famous urdu comedians who wrote his name in the court of fame from the publication of his first work.  In Ashfaq Hussain's realism, the taste of sympathy and the fragrance of commitment to national goals and ideology is unique.  The way the word "Gentleman" is portrayed is unique to him alone.  There is so much excitement in his unconventional tone that even in the face of death, good humour does not turn into sorrows".
