Abstract

Phonetics deals with spoken language; only human sounds that are produced by the speech organs to express their response. Phonetics is the detailed study of the meaningful sounds of a language. The study of phonetics is indispensable in the study of linguistics. It is only phonetics that can tell the correct pronunciation of the words of a language. In learning and teaching a foreign and non-native language, the knowledge of the structure of language sounds, their production and their acoustic characteristics is very important. In this branch of linguistics, the formation, production, delivery, their acoustic qualities and sound variations are discussed in detail. Thus, with the help of phonetics, we understand all the stages from the production of sounds to the perception of sound.
