Abstract

Mirza Kalich Beg was not only an outstanding literary figure of the Sindhi language, but he was one of Pioneers of introducing Urdu language in Sindh. Much and more has been written about his services rendered for the promotion of Sindhi literature and language, but nothing has been written in details about his position as a poet of urdu language. In this paper, his services for urdu language, with special reference to his urdu poetry, has been highlighted accordingly.
