Abstract

Mumtaz shireen known as a unique critic in the urdu literary circle. Because of her critical views , she introduced new critical trends. She studied western literature at that time , when urdu literature is unaware of western critical ideas . Her short stories also contain the same critical ideas. She wrote books containing critical content . beside this the also wrote many articles on Manto using many new techniques to present her critical views about the personality and writings of Manto.in this article ,mumtaz shireen’s critical views will be discussed.
