Abstract

Dr. S.M. Moin Qureshi is a multifaceted creator. He started his literary life in 1953. From 1962, he started writing regular comics from Majeed Lahori's magazine "Namakdan" and then went on to achieve numerous stages of success. In Urdu and English language, he has written twenty-seven books and three magazines on humor, travelogue, research, criticism, history of literature, religion, social security and advertising. His articles were also published in the newspapers of India, Iran, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Britain, America and Canada. He wrote columns in "Express Newspaper" under the pen name of "Ibn-e-Mansha" for many years. His tireless efforts in newspapers and magazines covers about sixty-eight years. A book based on the history of Urdu language and literature "Urdu Zuban o Adab" was published in 1986. It is a brief overview of the history of literature. Before the study of writers and poets, an overview of the Urdu language and various genres of literature has been presented.
