Abstract

In certin respects, Mushtaq Ahmad Yousufi's name stands apart from his contemporaries as far as tradition of Urdu humour and satire is concerned. A ready proof of it is the fact that with publication of his second effort, "Khakham Badahan" he gained attention of readers which has held ever since. Without a doubt the aforementioned writing of Yousufi is credible and cherished asset of Urdu literature. In this article the writer has tried to decipher from a critical and reserach perspective, and analysis of yousufi's "Khakham Badahan".
