Abstract

            Dr. Sohail Ahmad was the prominent critic of this era. His book, "Dastano ki Alamati Kainat" has gain importance in the perspective of theoretical criticism. This is an acadamic study of mythical literature rather than historical and social studies. Its major themes are "Hero, Tabdeeli-e-Qalib and Talism". This article discuss Sohail Ahmad view point on symbolism of Talsim. Sohail Ahmad presented the practical perspective of traditional thinking, in order to understand the meaningful of Talism.
