Abstract

Tabassum Kashmiri is a well-known literary personality. He is a multi-dimensional person, i.e. scholar, teacher, critic etc. but his primary or dominant shade is poetry. At present he considered as an authentic poet in both form i.e. Ghazal & Nazam. His poetry addressed socio-political content beside the individual feelings, emotions and dreams. The poems narrate the contemporary situation with the support of artistic sense. The poet kept in mind the ground realities of his homeland & the global challenges while his creative work. In this article efforts have been made to explore the "Contemporary Sense" in his poems. ـ
