Abstract

Existentialism is a 19th century philosophical movement that not only left a profound impact on literature but also influenced other fields of art such as theatre, paintings and film with its thought system. Any ideology gets its structural and intellectual framework from the society itself. A phenomenon or social change can be considered as the starting point of an ideology. In this research paper, the existential elements in Rashid's poem will be examined.
