Abstract

 Anthropology is the scientific study of humanity, concerned with human behaviorhuman biologyculturessocieties, and linguistics, in both the present and past, including past human species. Archeology is an important and central dimension of anthropology. Through which the history of ancient civilization and human culture is revealed.Tahira Iqbal's novel Harappa discribes the stories of Pakistan's archaeological site Harappa and its surroundings. All anthropological dimentions like Socio-Cultural  anthropology, linguistic anthropology , ethnology and ethnograpgy reflects in the novle “Harappa”.Harappan archeology and its landscape of wonders, the mutual conflict between Dravidian and Arya races had been shown through Channa’n (a shepherd girl) and Malkani. The story of human freedom and slavery travel through the events of the novel and make it a lively work. Apparently presenting the story of the feudal system, Tahira Iqbal's "Harappa" is undoubtedly an important novel of the 21st century in the context of anthropology.
