Abstract

 Wajida Tabassum was an Urdu  fiction writer .she was born on 16 march 1935 .Her stories and songs also got a major place in movies.Many stories writtwn by her were dramatized . she wrote 27 books .Wajida tabassum wrote many stories about woman ,role of woman and role of society degrading the value of a woman.  she ,in her writings gave a place to poor people through which she tells to the reader that how poverty disturbs the condition of human being and enforce poor people to tolerate the cruelty of Nawabs and even  never think about their rights . She discussed women and the social condition of a women. In her stories a women is tortured by society and sexually harassed in the homes of Nawab’s (Duke) .Wajida Tabassum tells us in her stories that not only a man but also the whole society treat   a women in an unhuman way . her stories shows the real picture of the  society.”
