Hafiz Mahmood Sherani is a prominent researcher in the history of Literature. His most famous work is "Punjab mein Urdu" which has brought him the success that he deserves. He has excelled as a researcher. He was the one to jolt the old notions about the origin of Urdu Language. He is a master in reading old manuscript and telling about it's period and it's calligraphic style. His work is worthy.
