Abstract

Urdu Novel has very importance in a literature. It has its own historical perspectives. In this essay it is highlighted the progress of novel writing in the light of progressive movement. It is also explained the works of modern progressive writers in light of progressive thoughts. The development of Urdu progressive novel is being described in details accordingly. The important modern novels are discussed in details. It is also mentioned in the essay that progressive movement have left great impact on Urdu novel writing.
