Abstract

This paper deals with the phenomenon of religious intertextuality (the Quranic and the Hadith) in the poetry of Ghulam Ali Azad Balgrami. The phenomenon of intertextuality has been discussed and pointed out structural intertextuality of Quran and Hadith.

The researcher has pointed out many religious references in the poetry of Ghulam Ali Azad Balgrami. This paper illuminates the personality of the poet and his literary assets as it sheds light on his employment of religious vocabulary. In this paper researcher has employed the method of description and analytics.
