Abstract

In Urdu literature "Bagh o bahar" by Mir Aman Dehlavi is considered to be a  milestone in narative literature . In "Bagh o bahar "the story of four Sufi  Dervaish  has been described very  beautifully  . These Dervaish  seemed to be  victim of superstition .The desire of being blessed with children is found in all the people of various segments of society whether they are rich , poor, king or beggar .When a man is deprived of this  blessing ,he seeks hepl from the  peers and faqirs and pleads that he is ready to do whatever  is denmanded to be blessed with an heir.
