Abstract

Sketch-writing needs a very keen observation on the writer. Although Urdu had a long tradition of literary sketch writing but with the push of progressive movement it tended towards realism. Ahmad Bashir is such a sketch writer who proved his skill with a photographic vision. He is renowned due to his minute details of the personality. We  presents some of the salient features of Ahmad Bashir sketches with a healthy expression.
