Abstract

This subject is meant to remove those doubts which have been created concerning the number Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) daughters. Strong arguments are given against those who deem it historically impossible for the Prophet to have more than one daughter.  Furthermore, this article has established through several evidences from Quranic verses, Holy Hadith, consensus of Ummah and literatures from Jafari School of Thought that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had four daughters namely; Ruqiyyah, Zainab, Umm e Kulsom and Fatima (RA)
