Abstract

Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadani was a great religious activist, prolific and crudite scholar, a social reformer, law specialist, thinker, incredible social researcher and a magnanimous personality above all sectarian prejudices. He heralded a new era and revived a true spirit of Islam. His religious zeal and zest played an inevitable role in forming and shaping the human behavior. He has a tough and busy schedule to document his advices and decisions for kings, courtiers, counts influential figures and rulers of that time. He has a great influence on ruling elite. He preached and directed his attention towards ruling class. He brought substantial reforms in the lives of rulers because he knew that common class imitates and follow his ruling class. He laid a great and full proof system for his propogation of Islam with true spirit. Among his all great works, his writing Zakhiratul Malook is a magnum opus of Amir Kabir Shah.e.Hamdan. It is a great work piece of guidance for Muslim rulers, kings and their subordinates. He stands to such a pinnacle of dignity that different schools of thought own and adorn him. For creation of new social era he broke old shell of rigidity and dogma. His book clarifies that he was not unaware about political thought of Islam. His message of love was unlimited. He influenced every conceivable human activity. He was also a spectacular traveler only for the spread and expansion of Islam. He totally metamorphosed the socioreligious, economic, spiritual and political fabric of sub continent. Therefore, he particularly helped in the evolution of Muslim mass culture and demographic character of Kashmir and called Apostle of Kashmir. He was a multidimensional religious and Muslim leader. His smiles  and metaphors are only taken from Quran and sunnah.
