Abstract

Bhagat kabir`s poetry is full of eternal songs of the oneness of allah humanitarianism is their profession. There is a powerful voice in his poetry to end oppression. He toured many parts of india. He expressed the sentiments of the people by searching for the gems of knowledge and skills with the scholars of all religions and sects and presenting them in different genres of poetry in a series of words of Mewati, khari,rajasthani and porbi languages. His disciples collected his words and printed them in book form. The influence of Mewati language on kabir poetry is significant. Mato eldess call kabir a mewati poet and proudly recite their verses to each other and present them as proverbs.

This article seeks to identify the language and expression used in Mewati language by looking for examples from kabir`s poetry.
