Abstract

Since the Holy Prophet's revelation, Islam's real power has come from the call to religion. Even now, there are many more opportunities to revive Islam's da'wah and preaching than ever before. Islam, on the other hand, has demonstrated that its message is historical, eternal, and comprehensive. A comparative study of faiths has demonstrated that all other religions are unreliable and lack historical reality. The Orientalists gave a historical analysis of the call to Islam with this in mind. "The Preaching of Islam, A History of the Propagation of the Muslim Faith" by Professor Thomas Arnold, As a result, he recorded in his book: “Absence of missionary organization in Islam: zeal on the part of individuals. Who are the Muslim missionaries? Causes that have contributed to their success: the simplicity of the Muslim creed: the rationalism and ritualism of Islam. Islam not spread by the sword. The toleration of Muhammadan governments Circumstances contributing to the progress of Islam in ancient and in modern times…” In addition, Montgomery Watt, a distinguished Orientalist, wrote two significant books, Muhammad at Mecca and Muhammad at Medina, in which he elaborated on the strategies and techniques of Islam preaching. The da'wah and historical thinking of Islam have been described in this essay, which has been written with an eye on the same writings of the Orientalists. Additionally, the Orientalists' concerns have been addressed.
