Abstract

Allah has given us so many gifts and blessings that we simply cannot count them all one of his most awesome blessing to us is our health good or bad .As Allah has created all of creation out of his mercy (Rehmat) as a manifestation of his glorious name ‘Al-Rahman’ and so no matter what one’s destiny is, whether it be health, sickness, wealth, poverty etc. There is mercy and wisdom in it. Therefore during sickness a person should not be hopeless, because in this situation Islamic teachings forced for treatment as much as we cannot even imagine and emphasis to save the life of patient by any mean. But occasionally people confused during medication that which kind of treatment is halal and can we take treatment for protection of the life from any doubtful medicine which is not halal? Basically in compulsion Islam allows this kind of treatment, but somehow it does not allows, it called interpretation of shariah which I try to explain in this paper. This hypothesis will be proved from the verses of the Holy Quran, the sayings of the Holy prophet, the opinions of the Muslim schools of thought and scholars as well. Findings and recommendations will also be discussed.
