Abstract

The Indus Valley, with its thousands of years of history, is rich in cultural and literary references. The Indus Valley, which has a glorious past, is a reflection of the civilization that is enshrined within it. The reflection of this civilization was born on the soil of Sindh by innumerable universal and eloquent poets. These poets not only highlighted the political and social issues of the time but also proved to be a ray of hope for the hopeless people even in turbulent times. By the light of which the hearts of God's creatures were enlightened and they were able to distinguish between good and evil. Apart from Sindhi, these poets also used other regional languages ​​as a medium of expression. One of them is Seraiki language. In the tradition of Seraiki poetry, the nineteenth century is of special importance among these poets of Sindh land as a large number of poets emerged during this period who brought Seraiki poetry to a perfect level. Among these poets are Sachal Sarmast, Khalifa Nabi Bakhsh Laghari, Nanak Yusuf, Hamal Faqir Leghari, Hussain Didar, Faqir Qadir Bakhsh Bedil, Faqir Khush Khair Mohammad Hasbani, Shah Mohammad Deedarr, Mohammad Mohsin Bakus and Makhdoom Amin Mohammad Amin.
