Abstract

Poetry is the primary and strongest reference to literature in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. There are not as many novelists, fiction writers or critics as there are tall and world famous poets. The number female  poets in kpk  is like salt in flour. One of the reason for this is the low rate of literate women in the education system and the other is the tribal and cultural system in which writing poetry for a girl is no less than a test. In this scenario, Iffat Shaheen comes before us. His collection of poems has come to the fore under the name "Mohabbat asm e  Azam hay". This collection is very diverse due to its unique themes.In kpk  probably she is  the only poet who has made the pain of childlessness and the tragedy of not being able to become a mother . This topic is a universal topic. And if it is treated with the inner truths, then a wave of sorrow and anguish seems to form it.
