Abstract

The study in this article highlighted the "Military campaigns" discussed in the poetry of famous Urdu poet Allama muhammad Iqbal. Muhammad Iqbal was not only a great poet but was also a great Philosopher, Sage and Intellectual. That's why he discussed most of the philosophical, classical and religious points, terms and campaigns in his poetry. Jihad is an Islamic element which means that a Muslim should line up in the front of Kuffar. Actually the poetry of Allama Iqbal is the reflection of Quran and Hidath, so this is the reason that Allama Iqbal's poetry contains a large number of Military and jihadi campaigns. In his poetry, he aware the Muslim about the deeds of their forefathers and also push them for Jihad. Here all the Military and Jihadi campaign in his poetry are discussed briefly and explain with the references of his poetry. In this article it is concluded that many of Military and Jihadi campaigns are present in Allama Iqbal poetry but these Jihadi campaigns do not support the terrorism at all but rather it is highlighting the former glory of the Muslim and inciting them to action.
