Abstract

Buleh Shah was a great and renowned poet of Punjabi Poetry. His poetry revolves around the basic concepts of humanity described in Islamic culture and education. In his teachings, he renounced the traditional theologians and propagated true face of Islam. He censured his contemporary mullahs and focussed on humanism and spiritualism in true sense. His writings reflect concept of Touheed, and he was one of the greatest perpetrators of Tassawauf. His Poetry is an amalgamation of strict Ideotog and firm belief. His poetry also show his kind heartedness for common man. His message of spiritualistic nature always enlightens heart and soul of his reader. Buleh Shah expressed his views in more individualistic way which made from other poets. His poetry shows etemal love for God, the holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) and his spiritual leader. In this article, the importance of Buleh Shah's poetry in Punjabi language will be brought to light.
