Abstract

Positive thinking, ethics and morality are regarded as synonymous terms to a large extent. The fundamental point of prophethood was to bring revolutionary changes in human morality. Good morals are not only an individual’s personal matter but also play a major role in the rise and fall of a nation. Histories witnesses that whenever a nation lacks morality it falls and never rise again. Materialism always leads to destruction of national conscientious and deterioration of the human behavior. Presently, morality is the least entity exists in Muslim nation. This is an unfortunate situation for us. The importance of ethicality can be understood by the fact that “Mother Ayesha” quoted the sayings of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) which means that a true Muslim attains high ranks of “ibadah” due to his height of courtesy and regular Fasting. Courteous and ethical nations not only get immense popularity but also become undefeatable in every walk of life. The holy Quran always gives teachings of adopting high moral values and ethics in our individual and collective life. This article will cover not only the practices of morality in old Islamic culture but also shed light on contemporary affairs regarding ethicality.
