Abstract

This article is a research on Sufism, the Aulia Allah are the persons that lead the humanity after prophets by living a symbolic life in front of people. These persons’ contribution lead to spread of Islam in sub-continent. This study aims to investigate the literary contribution of Hazrat Nosha Gunj in Urdu, Hindi, Persian and Punjabi poetry. This poet has written poetry book Gunj ul Israr in Punjabi language which discussed the religious and tasavwuf.  Another writing in urdu poetry “Intekhab e Gunj sharif” discussed the basic Islamic faiths. This book has versatile with the use of vocabulary of Hindi, Sanskrit and basha languages as well. Hazrat Nosha Gunj writing and discussion in these writing shows their love with people, Islamic faith and progress of urdu language in their time. His writing shows the versatility and progressiveness in Urdu language.
