Abstract

Saadat Hasan Manto is the most prominent short-story writer. He is the most admirable and the most controversial as well. Manto wrote a number of short-stories about partition and riots.He depicted the true picture of social and cultural issues.His bold and blunt style of writing was astonishing and he had to face several court cases accused of obscenity.This article deals with Manto's style of writing.
