Abstract

The term globalization is itself self-explanatory. It is considered to be one of the most influential phenomenon in the recent time, it is consider a comparatively new term but it has origin in antiquity. Being global mean a change in one views of looking at life, values, culture and language. This aspect has been captured wonderfully by writers all over the world.

This article focuses on the influence of globalization on Urdu literature. It has been tried to present the impact of globalization on Urdu in light of examples of 21^st century Urdu writers in the light of concept of globalization and its various effect.
