Abstract

In this article a comparison between the fiction writing of Mopsan and Prem Chand with respect to feminism and feminine consciousness has presented. Mopsan’s fiction represents the woman of west and Prem Chand’s fiction represents the woman of east. Both of these writers have shown a deep feminine consciousness in their fiction to express the miseries of woman of west and east. Woman of western and eastern societies treat them with a non-human behavior, their social problems with respect to their personal problems has been represented by the writers with a deep observation of this patriarchal societies.
