He represents literary theory and its psychological perspectives on social life. He stresses on contextual realities. AneesNagi having crystal clear ideas and vivid description has visualized linguistic psychology and philosophy in the field of criticism. He has adopted these trends from English literature and criticism but adds his own touch of creativity as well. The purpose of this article is to highlight the imperialism and other modern trends introduced by AneesNagi in Urdu criticism as well as highlighting the characteristics of AneesNagi’s criticism.
