Abstract
The article "The Impact of “Conjunctions” in the derivation of Sharia Rulings” brings to light that the greatness of the Holy Quran lies in its worth as a Word of God and also as a book of the ideology of life. The holy Quran was revealed in Arabic language because it was Arabs who addressed first and they were preachers to the entire nations of the world. So to understand its commandments and to attain its guidance, it became compulsory to critically learn the Arabic language with its rhetorics. The Islamic jurists differed from one another in the interpretation and exegesis of the Quran due to the rich rhetorics and the wide linguistic diversity of the Arabic language and not due to their own inclinations or mindsets. Hence, it proves that in the derivation of the Quranic laws, the role of Arabic language and its usage of word and conjunctions can not be ignored.
