Abstract

Study of Sheikh and Naaseh’s characters In the poetry of Iqbal and Faiz. We can easily find the characters of Sheikh’Naseh and Mulla in traditional Urdu poetry. These characters are presented as symbols of social injustice and moral ugliness. This article is a study of Sheikh and Naseh’s characters reference to the poetry of Iqbal and Faiz. They described the colours of these characters regarding our social problems and moral values.They have ironically divided our society in two different parts of religion and materialistic world. In this article there are various examples of Urdu poetry from Iqbal and Faiz to explain the topic.
