Abstract

From the beginning of the twentieth century, educated women played a vital role in bringing women's issues to the fore in the world of fiction. In 1952, Sajjad Zaheer compiled "Angara" consisting of ten legends. This legendary collection included the fictions of Sajjad Zaheer, Ahmed Bhi, Mahmood Al Zafar, and Rashid Jahan. Of course, their technical status was not high Rashid Jahan also faced criticism for her outspoken style, but she stuck to her style and was called the first progressive woman.
