Abstract

This research explores the commentaries on Al-Muwatta of Imam Malik in the light of Fiqh al-Hadith, analyzing their contributions to classical and contemporary Islamic jurisprudence. It examines the application of hadith principles in legal reasoning, theological discourse, political ideologies, economic systems, social structures, and educational paradigms. Furthermore, it evaluates the relevance of Al-Muwatta’s commentaries in addressing modern challenges such as capitalism, secularism, democracy, and technological advancements. The study highlights the dynamic nature of Fiqh al-Hadith and its continued significance in contemporary Islamic scholarship.
