Abstract

Akhtar Raza saleemi is one of the best novelists in Pakistan. He has written three novels up to now. In these novels Akhtar Raza Saleemi not only presented the regional culture but also  modern issues. Consumerism is the culture of mass consumption and influences the individual’s purchasing power and desire for products. Consumerism works by creating an economic system that encourages consumers to buy more through social pressure, advertising, manipulation, and the belief that you’ll be happier if you own a particular item. In this article effort is made to analyze the novels of Akhtar Raza Saleemi in the perspective Consumarism
