Abstract
The true criterion of good, bad, success, failure, improvement and deterioration is piety and not color, appearance, race, ancestry, wealth or wealth etc. The standard of goodness is based on the piety of the person and not on the principles of external qualities or material wealth. It enlightens human beings on the basis of equality, respect and justice with each other. The standard of goodness may be based on piety, which may be moral, ethical, spiritual or socially derived. Taqwa is a general concept that includes the ability to live in accordance with religious and legislative concepts, adherence to Shari'a orders, practical implementation of virtues, adherence to moral principles, social respect, etc.
The standard of good and bad is based on the principles of Sharia. Shariah refers to the Islamic laws and regulations that are based on the decrees of Allah and the life of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Since the standard of goodness in Islamic Shariah is based on piety. A good person is one who strictly fulfills the Shariah injunctions and adopts moral principles. He fasts, prays, pays zakat, respects the rights of Allah and the rights of his servants, acts faithfully, gives charity, helps the oppressed, and fulfills the rights of others.
Similarly, the standard of evil is also based on Shari'ah. A bad person is one who violates Shari'a orders, commits evil deeds, neglects moral principles, oppresses others, makes fake and forbidden earnings, leads others astray.
