This study delves into the characters and locations depicted in Mirza Hameed Baig's renowned literary work, "Anarkali." The novel, set against the historical backdrop of the Mughal era, intricately weaves a narrative that blends fiction with reality, offering a unique perspective on the legendary tale of Anarkali. Through a detailed analysis of the characters, including the enigmatic Anarkali, Emperor Akbar, Prince Salim, and other key figures, the study explores the complex interpersonal dynamics, the socio-political environment of the time, and the influence of these elements on the unfolding of the story.
