Abstract
Rashid Jahan is important as a female fiction writer in the history of progressive fiction. Rashid Jahan was a confident and bold woman who put out the truth without hesitation. After Premchand, she is counted among those who gave a new path and a new direction to Urdu fiction. It will not be useless to title her as the first revolutionary writer among Urdu fiction writers. Her anxious personality was like her book ''Shula Jawala''. In her, there is found rebellion and protest against the trend of dominant forces in the society. Her main message was the struggle to free women from the slavery of men and the superiority complex and rely on themselves. The uniqueness of her fiction deals with the labourers, problems of the workers, their economical downwardness and infirmity and the exploitative behavior of upper class. She put a coat of satire on realism and tested it on the criteria of art and put it into words .Rashid Jahan's name will always shine in the tradition of Urdu fiction. In this article, the researcher highlight the Woman's Dimensional Depiction in Rashid Jahan's Fiction.
