Abstract

Allah loves beauty and created humans with a flair for adornment. Women, in particular, have a strong inclination towards beauty and makeup. In South Asian culture, the "Solah Shringar" (16 Adornments) are a traditional way for women, especially brides, to enhance their beauty. These adornments include kajal, sindoor, mehndi, jewelry, and clothing. Mehndi, or henna, is an integral part of this tradition, and is often applied intricately on the bride's hands and feet. The concept of Solah Shringar has been a popular theme in Urdu poetry, used to describe the beauty and charm of the beloved.
