Abstract

Ikramullah's novel "Garg-e-Shab" is unique among the short novels written in Urdu. Reading it may not be a pleasant experience. Happy moments in life are rare

Ikramullah's novel makes us think about how much we all lack compassion and understanding of each other and why other people are tormented. There will be hell, but the main character of the novel has tasted hell in his life and the anger is that he is not even a sinner.

If we start talking about the creation of human history, then the concept of illegitimate children with reference to human relationships is rejected at the very beginning because the early man whose racial growth was more based on sexual satisfaction and not social needs and based on formal relationships

Second, the primitive man did not base his sexual satisfaction and reproduction on the basis of human relationships, rather, in this regard, the primitive man was free from the limits and restrictions of relationships. After many human values came into being, there were also established values regarding human relationships.
