Abstract
This study investigates the influence of leader competencies on conflict resolution among elementary school heads and teachers in Pakistan. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected from a diverse sample of school leaders across urban and rural settings. Key leadership competencies including emotional intelligence, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities were examined in relation to conflict resolution effectiveness. Findings indicate significant positive correlations between these competencies and conflict resolution outcomes, highlighting their pivotal role in fostering a supportive school climate. Practical implications for leadership development and educational policy are discussed, emphasizing the importance of targeted training initiatives tailored to the Pakistani context. This research contributes to the understanding of effective leadership practices in educational settings and underscores the need for continued exploration of contextual factors influencing leadership efficacy.
