Abstract

The 21^st century has been called the century of the novel. Since the beginning, many high-quality novels have appeared, including Bano Qudsia’s novel “Raja Gidh” and Ali Akbar Natiq’s novel “Kumariwala”.In these novels, social evils has been depicted in a very good way. Social issues like alcoholism, dishonesty, not distinguishing between halal and haram, homosexuality, opportunism are important social evils of the 21^st century. In the proposed research article, these two novels are based on An overview of the evils of the society has been done. Society and literature are closely related. A writer is born in a society and creates only by observing and studying the events of that society. No writer can perform literary services by avoiding the society. Therefore, a writer is not only the interpreter of his time, but he is an eyewitness of the history of his time and describes it in his own words.
