Abstract
Imam al-Qurtubi! He was a renowned Islamic scholar and exegete from Cordoba, Spain. His full name was Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Abu Bakr bin Farah al-Qurtubi, and he lived from 1214 to 1273 CE. Al-Qurtubi was a proficient of various Islamic sciences, including tafsir (Qur'anic exegesis), hadith, and fiqh (jurisprudence). His most famous work is his comprehensive commentary on the Qur'an, "Al-Jami' li Ahkam al-Qur'an" (The Collection of the Rules of the Qur'an), which is still studied and revered by scholars and students today. His contributions to Islamic thought and scholarship have a profound impact on the development of Islamic theology and jurisprudence. Tafseer e Qurtabi (Al Jame Li Ahkam Il Quran) is a complete interpretation of the Quran written by Imam Abu Abdullah Al-Qurtubi. Key points about this book include:-
