Abstract

Mohsin Faani is cconsidered among the master poets of Kashmir from the 11th Hijri century. A great poet like Ghani Kashmiri was his disciple. He was enlightened by his critical remarks. All biographers have praised his knowledge and poetry. Mohsin Faani traveled throughout various regions of India. He rose to prominence as one of Dara Shikoh's esteemed companions. His thoughts and poetic style were deeply influenced by the works of Hafiz Shirazi. In addition to his diwan, he also wrote four mathnavis . In this article Diwan e Fani is reviewed from a critical and analytical perspective.
