Abstract

In the autobiography of Shohrat Bukhari, the reader gets a deep socio-political awareness of the author. In his autobiography, the author narrates in detail the various movements against the colonial-minded policies of the British government. The author tells in his biography, the story of the struggle for the establishment of Pakistan from the rise of Tehreek-e-Pakistan, along with the world's biggest migration issues while the foundation of Pakistan was being laid, the power of ups and downs of different political parties, the causes and effects of the fall of Dhaka, and the effects of foreign domination during the various governments of Pakistan have been described in detail. A special thing about his autobiography is that it also highlights the actions and roles of many Pakistani literary personalities. That is why the social, Political and literary atmosphere of the twentieth century has been thoroughly inscribed in this autobiography.
